In collaboration with Al Makassed University, the Education Resources Center (erc), in coordination with the Technology and Education Unit, organized a specialized training course titled “Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Learning: Tools and Strategies.” The course was delivered by Mrs. Dima Itani over a total of eight training hours.
Twenty Makassed educators participated in the program. The first part of the training, totaling five hours, was conducted during the Professional Development Day, while the second part, consisting of three hours, was completed at Al Makassed University.
Throughout the training, participants were introduced to a range of practical AI tools designed to support lesson planning, assessment, differentiated instruction, and learner engagement. These tools were applied to real classroom scenarios, with a strong emphasis on the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence, ensuring that the learner remains at the center of the educational process. At the end of the course, all participants received certificates of attendance in recognition of their commitment to enhancing their professional practices and advancing education through the effective and responsible integration of AI.
