On the occasion of the launch of the Respiratory Therapy Program at the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, accredited by the American Association for Respiratory Therapy and the International Council for Respiratory Care, a celebration was held in Khalidi Hall in the presence of the President of the Makassed Association, Dr. Faisal Sinno, and members of the Board of Trustees of the Association, in addition to members of the Supreme Council of Makassed University in Beirut.
In his speech, the President of Makassed University in Beirut, Professor Dr. Hassan Ghaziri, stressed the importance of developing nursing programs recognized by American associations and specialized international councils that contribute to raising the educational and training level of nurses in various hospitals in Lebanon. He also announced plans to launch new programs and certificates at the faculty. At the end of his speech, he thanked everyone who contributed to the launch of this distinguished program.
For his part, the Head of the Medical Staff at Al-Makassed Hospital and the Medical Supervisor of the Program, Dr. Wael Jaroush, expressed his deep pride in the participation of graduates from the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences in this program, emphasizing their prominent role in improving healthcare in Lebanon and abroad.
